The branch has almost 3,000 members in Blackpool throughout local government, schools and the voluntary sector. We represent a range of staff, from home carers to social workers, from cleaners to administrative workers, from architects to solicitors and street cleaners to environmental officers.
As a member-led branch we hold monthly meetings for stewards and members and organise an annual combined AGM and Social. We hold regular workplace and update meetings for members on key issues such as the Pay Review.
