INFORMATION FOR BRANCH MEMBERS
If you are asked by your line manager whether you are taking strike action, you are NOT obliged to give this information. UNISON supplies employers with information about the number of members in their workplace who are being called on to take industrial action.
If you need any further advice, please do not hesitate to contact the Branch Office. That is the staggering response of Blackpool Council’s political leadership to the Comprehensive Spending Review. The figures quoted to UNISON negotiators are truly alarming:
No-one will escape the impact so the time for keeping your head down is gone. The only response open to council employees now is to fight back hard! UNISON is organising workplace meetings across the council to encourage a campaign of resistance!
